#9 The Power of Visibility
It's great to work hard, but if you're not showing it, it doesn't matter....
Today is a great day.
You know why? I completed my Re-Introduction Video for YouTube. I’ve been meaning to do it for a while, but it kept getting delays due to other projects.
Starting this Monday, you will see a new video released on my YouTube channel - Every Monday, 8 am EST.
(Here’s the link to my YouTube channel if you haven’t subscribed yet: https://www.youtube.com/@virkmedia283).
What do I have planned for my future? Your future. I am going to train you on how to expand your mindset and become more productive in every way possible so YOU can improve every aspect of your life.
This leads me to today’s topic - The Power of Speaking Up.
You might have heard that wise people don’t speak much. It’s also true that hard working people don’t speak much because they are usually very focused on what they do. The problem is, that these hard working people think that if they work hard, everything will be fine with them (whether it’s their job, their relationship, or something else).
But YOU know that’s not right. I mean how many times have you seen hard working, quiet employees getting fired and the talkative slacking employees keep their job? I know I’ve seen it a ton of time. MANY times, in fact.
So I always tell people that whatever hard work you put it, you need to make sure you are talking about it. Show it, display it, tell you feel working on that hard project when you talk to your peers or managers. The same applies in relationships - whatever you feel, you need to communicate it with your partner or family rather than just expect them to understand your feelings.
This can mean the difference between - Having a job vs. not having a job. Having a relationship vs. not having a relationship. Or, being happy vs. not being happy.
Words have power. Whether you like it or not. So, use them.
Thanks for reading this week, and I’ll speak to you next week,
