#7 Knowing Your Limits
Don’t let yourself burn out...
Hey there,
It’s me again. Today, I wanted to focus on you. Actually, I want to tell you to focus on yourself.
Progress is great, but only if you don’t destroy yourself and your loved ones on the way. For example, I have this weekly newsletter - It’s weekly, because I don’t want to overburden myself, but at the same time, I want to build a habit of writing on a regular, consistent basis. Doing a monthly newsletter would be very slow for me to develop a regular habit of writing. On the other hand, doing it more than once a week would simply be too much with everything else that I am doing.
Therefore, I chose to do a weekly newsletter in order to provide some value to my readers that want to understand how I accomplish some of my goals, why I have failed at others or understand some of the techniques I use to achieve success. When I started this weekly newsletter, it was hard to even write weekly, and I skipped some weeks, but now, it’s become more of a habit. I’ve improved with being consistent with writing this newsletter, which is a huge step for me.
Whenever you are trying to do something or accomplish a goal, I want you to keep that in mind - you don’t want to over-do-it, and you don’t want to under-do-it. Find the right balance. And remember, that “right balance” could be once a week for someone, but once a month for someone else. Because no two people are alike.
Balance is the key to success. Remember that, and you will go a long way.
Yours Truly,
Nadeem
