#11 Small Reads to Refresh Your Brain

We’ve all been there. There’s simply too much work, or too much to do in life. When that happens, what do we need to do? We need to reset our brains. That can be done sleep, meditation, or reading books.

In today’s newsletter, I want to tell you about some of the best novels that I’ve read in my entire life. When you’re exhausted, put aside all your worries, and take a book to do some light reading.

The books I am going to tell you about aren’t self-help, finance or motivational books. These are books that you can enjoy while putting your worries to the side.

1. Dragonlance Series - As a kid growing up, these were my favorite read. They were filled with magic and dragons. I just couldn’t put them down. If you feel like they are too kiddish, just pass it on to the kids around you rather than read it for yourself!

2. Dune Series - You know them now as movies, but I read these books a LONG time ago. They were some of the most amazing books I’ve ready growing up. If you haven’t read them yet, read them.

3. Mistborn Series - Another great series. Mix of fantasy and sci-fi. One of my original favorites.

4. Foundation Series - Another show series you might know, but show is NOT even close to being as good as the books. Great Sci-fi read that you won’t be able to put down.

5. Kingkiller Chronicles - These books are unique. 2 of 3 books released and no sight of the 3rd book, but they are totally worth it. There’s something about these books and the way they’re written that will pull you in and not let you go.

That is the best list of novels that you will ever get if you’re into sci-fi/fantasy stories. Trust me, I know, because I’ve read THOUSANDS of books while growing up. Hope you enjoy them as well!
